Automatism Works

Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 7, 2026

1. Who we are & scope

“We,” “us,” and “Automatism Works” refer to the operator of this website, related payment and account pages, and the IG DM Sender browser extension (the “Services”). This policy describes how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use our website, create or manage a PRO account, pay for a subscription, or use extension features (including optional AI-assisted tools).

The extension interacts with instagram.com only as you direct it; we do not control Instagram. You must comply with Instagram’s Terms of Use, Community Guidelines, and applicable laws when sending messages.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Account, billing & support

  • Identifiers & account data: e.g. device-generated or assigned tokens used to identify your extension installation, subscription or trial status, and communications you send to support.
  • Payment data: card and billing details are processed by our payment processors (e.g. Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our servers; processors handle transactions subject to their own terms and security standards.
  • Technical & usage data: when you use our website or APIs, we may receive IP address, browser type, approximate timestamps, and similar diagnostics needed to operate and secure the Services.

2.2 IG DM Sender extension (local & network)

  • Locally on your device: message templates, audience inputs (e.g. usernames, lists), and settings may be stored in browser storage to provide the product. You control what you type.
  • Sent to our servers: we receive data needed to verify PRO status (e.g. token checks), deliver configuration, and provide features you explicitly trigger. Do not paste data you are not entitled to share.
  • Instagram: the extension operates in the context of your logged-in Instagram session; Instagram may process activity according to its own policies.

2.3 AI Tweak (optional PRO feature)

If you use AI Tweak, your message template text (the draft in the extension), your PRO verification token, and a UI language / locale tag are sent to our servers and forwarded to third-party AI providers (currently Google Gemini and/or Groq) solely to generate Spintax-style suggestions. We do not use this feature to train our own models; those providers process content under their own terms and privacy notices—please review them if you use AI Tweak.

Do not include passwords, financial data, government ID numbers, health information, or confidential third-party data in templates you submit to AI Tweak unless you accept the risk of that content being processed offshore by subprocessors.

2.4 Cookies, email & similar technologies

  • Our website may use cookies and similar technologies for session management, preferences, and understanding how pages are used.
  • We may track opens and clicks on transactional or marketing emails we send, where permitted, to improve communications. You can opt out of promotional emails where we offer an unsubscribe link.

2.5 Information from other sources

We may receive limited information from payment partners, fraud-prevention services, or public sources to verify transactions or protect the Services.

3. How we use information

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Services (including PRO verification, AI Tweak when enabled, and extension configuration).
  • Process payments, prevent fraud, and enforce our terms.
  • Respond to support requests and send service-related notices.
  • Protect the security and integrity of our systems and users.
  • Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
  • With your consent where required, send promotional communications.

4. How we share information

  • Service providers & subprocessors who assist with hosting, payments, analytics, email, security, or AI inference (e.g. cloud hosts, Stripe, Google AI, Groq), under contractual safeguards appropriate to the service.
  • Legal & safety: when we believe disclosure is required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, or security.
  • Business transfers: in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may transfer subject to this policy or equivalent protections.

We do not sell your personal information in the conventional sense of selling lists to data brokers. We do not use AI Tweak submissions to sell advertising profiles.

5. International transfers

We and our subprocessors may process data in the United States and other countries where we or they operate. Those countries may have different data-protection laws than your own. By using the Services, especially features that call cloud APIs (account checks, AI Tweak), you acknowledge that such processing may occur across borders.

6. Retention

We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including legal, tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution needs. Server logs and operational backups are rotated or deleted on schedules appropriate to their purpose. If you stop using paid features, some records may remain for a period to document subscription history.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures (including encryption in transit for web traffic, access controls, and vetted payment processors) to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; you are responsible for keeping your device and accounts safe.

8. Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of your personal information, or to object to certain uses. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below. We may need to verify your request. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your country.

9. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 16 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

10. Your responsibilities

  • Use the extension only in ways permitted by Instagram and applicable law (including anti-spam and direct-marketing rules where they apply).
  • Obtain any consent required before messaging individuals or using their data.
  • Do not use AI Tweak or templates to generate harassing, deceptive, illegal, or harmful content.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. For material changes, we may provide additional notice (e.g. in the extension or by email). Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance unless applicable law requires otherwise.
